Overview

MANAGEMENT ANALYST II (2023-19675) :

Bowhead seeks a Management Analyst to join our team in supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center – Crane Division (NSWC-Crane). The Management Analyst will provide Acquisition Engineering, Product Support and Logistics (PS&L) Support Services for Maritime Electromagnetic Warfare Systems Division (MEWSD). The Management Analyst must have excellent outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills and demonstrate excellent skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, Microsoft Access.

Responsibilities

Essential functions will include:

  • Collect, review, and analyze information in order to make recommendations to the Government.

  • Develop and maintain program/project plans, coordinate and provide data call responses, develop, and maintain databases, and evaluate/provide assessment of technical and non-technical program status

  • Develop Reports, usually submitted in writing, but oral presentations regarding findings also are common.

  • Facilitate, plan and support meetings required for the management and execution of support service efforts

  • Establish priorities, research, and provide analysis reports, provide synopses of meetings and develop/deliver presentations

  • Provide recommendations regarding the execution, direction, and measures for success of programs

  • Provide recommendations for the overall project definition, organization, and direction

  • Manage project plans to include technical, financial and administrative efforts; forecasting and scheduling of technical and management activities; status reporting of project/program progress, including progression toward programmatic goals; preparing for and conducting reviews and presentations documenting any technological breakthroughs, and expressing results in detail; and describing in detail the monthly status and overall conduct

  • Perform as the Division Records Liaison and execute responsibilities/duties associated with technical data records management

  • Experience associated with Computer Based Training (CBT) and Integrated Electronic Tech Manuals (IETM’s)

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree is required, with two (2) to five (5) years’ experience.Applicants with no degree must posses five plus (5+) years of experience in a Government

  • Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with the development and management of Computer Based Training (CBT) and Integrated Electronic Tech Manuals (IETM’s)

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

  • Prior experience supporting a program at NSWC Crane is highly preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
