Overview

TEAM LEAD / SENIOR ANALYST (RMP):

Bowhead is seeking a Team Lead / Senior Analyst to conduct USAF Risk Management Program (RMP) assessments, Integrated Defense Plan and Antiterrorism Plan technical reviews and risk validation. The Senior Analyst will lead a mobile team tailored to conduct RMP reviews and evaluations of Emergency Management plans, Critical Asset Risk Management plans, Continuity of Operations plans, Force Health Protection plans, Cybersecurity, and Mission Assurance functions at bases and sites within the Pacific Air Forces’ (PACAF) Area of Operation (AOR). The Senior Analyst provides the customer with a comprehensive RMP overview assessment using the Air Force’s Risk Decision Software Tool (RDST) and includes identified vulnerabilities, technology maintenance or integration limitations, and challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure RMP is conducted in accordance with and complies with Air Force guidance prescribed in AFMAN 31-101, Vol 1, Integrated Defense.

  • Ensure the final RMP report includes an Executive Summary, risk summary analysis and RDST software-driven supporting attachments for the Asset Criticality Assessment, Threat Assessment, Vulnerability Assessment, and Risk Assessment.

  • Verify accuracy and currency of identified task critical assets with the Air Force critical asset management database. Complete Protection Level Designation Matrix as needed to support the development of the protection for Theater Critical Assets.

  • Review the current local threat assessment and refine the installation design basis threat analysis with each installation threat working group.

  • Evaluate Integrated Defense Forces employment in Force Protection ALPHA through CHARLIE and make recommendations for more effective/efficient employment utilizing mapping tools.

  • Review and validate the existing IDP/AT plans for all locations identified in the annual schedule.

  • Ensure the IDP and AT plan templates are consistent with current directives and guidance and in compliance with an approved format.

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience with executing a Risk Management Program and conducting risk analyses. Experience must demonstrate implementing risk reduction strategies on installation as well as the confines of the base security zone.

  • Must have 5 years’ experience in the Pacific Theater of Operation.

  • Retired or former USAF Officers and Senior Noncommissioned Officers from the Security Forces’ career field with 10+ years of experience in the PACAF AOR highly preferred.

  • Ideal candidate has 10+ years of hands-on experience implementing the IDRMP using current USAF RDST software (aka Enterprise Protection Risk Management (EPRM)). Experience as a Wing-level ATO also a plus.

  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts

  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

Salary range for this position is from $110,000 - $125,000

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
