Overview
Cost Analyst to SupportPM Close Combat Systems:
Bowhead is looking for aCost Analyst Supportto PM Close Combat System to support the PM CCS contract at Picatinny, NJ.
Responsibilities
Assist with tracking awarded contracts and taskers regarding PM CCS current contracts and obligations.
Serve as a technical expert and advisor to supervisors and members of the staff on matters relating to Baseline Cost Estimates (BCE). Update the Baseline Cost Estimate (BCE) as a system progresses through its acquisition phases.
Provide guidance on the considerations and application of cost analysis. Maintain knowledge of current acquisition policy and major supporting requirements that relate to life cycle forecasting. Ensure proper structuring, analysis, and presentation of costs to facilitate the decision making process.
Serve as a focal point for Baseline Cost Estimate and coordinates cost activities. Serve as technical expert and advisor to PM staff on matters relating to the BCE, cost analysis, validation and reporting functions; coordinated operations research matters with PM staff.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Qualifications
Education and General Experience:
LEVEL I: A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required in a business field. Skill in exercising overall responsibility for weapon systems industrial/cost functions including cost analyst. Cost estimating functions, schedule planning and control and related technical functions. Professional knowledge of principles, practices, methods and techniques of various disciplines and competence in the rigorous methods of scientific inquiry and analyst to design, develop and adapt mathematical, statistical, economic and other scientific methods and techniques in analyzing and developing alternative solutions to management problems. Should have 5-10 years professional experience as a Cost Analyst or similar professional experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
LEVEL II: A graduate degree or 10-20 years professional experience as a Cost Analyst or similar professional experience. Should have the experience necessary to work independently including prior experience on Government Business systems.

Must be able to lift up to 5 to 10 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a Secret clearacne. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
